Sacral collection (Room No 5.)
One of the most valuable chasubles is made out of the cloak which belonged to the Bosnian king Stjepan Tomaš (1444 - 1461). There are records which prove that after the fall of Bosnia in 1463, on her way to Rome his wife Katarina brought the cloak to the monastery and that the Franciscan monks made a chasuble out of it which the bishops wore only on special occasions. This chasuble is considered one of the 10 most valuable textiles in the Republic of Croatia. Therefore it is kept strictly secure and rarely displayed.
